2017 Daylily Daze will be June 23 & 24 from 10 to 5!
Finchville Daylily Gardens is a great place to purchase locally grown Daylilies. This family business has been running for over 18 years now! They have 600 different varieties of daylilies on 5 acres!
During peak bloom, the garden is open for Daylily Daze. Everyone is invited to come see these beautiful, fragrant flowers. My husband and I stopped by to check it out last year. We were amazed at all the varieties available and how beautiful everything was. We picked out a few to take home for our yard. Not only do they have flowers, but they have several water features as well. They have some tables and chairs set up next to some of the water features that allows you to sit back and enjoy the beautiful scenery. Everyone was very helpful and friendly. If you have a chance, go and see these beautiful flowers for yourself, and maybe purchase one or two to take home. You can pick up some already potted, or you can fill out an order form and they will dig them up for you to pick up later. We bought one already potted, and my daughters love going out everyday and seeing the new blooms.
If you can't stop by, you can shop online and order flowers that will be freshly dug the day of ordering. All the ordering information, including selection and prices, can be found at their online store. There is also a lot of information about how to plant, grow, and care for your daylily.I love supporting local businesses in Shelby County, and this family business is another great one!
