Summer Music in Shelby County!

Shelby County Life Magazine is sponsoring a concert at the Shelby County Fair this Saturday, June 20, at 8pm. New Breed will perform at the Shelby County Fair Pavilion. Concert is free with fair admission ($5 before 4pm, $10 after 4pm).

The band Better Daze will perform at Shake the Lake on July 4. The event at Clear Creek Amphitheater will start around 5:30, but the music will begin around 7. The head of the band is Danny Finnell, from Shelbyville.

There will also be music July 4th at Simpsonville's Red, White, and Boom festival.

Simponsville has a new Summer Permforming Arts Series that starts July 4. The series will showcase local and regional talent at Wiche Park (7026 Shelbyville Road). The series will continue throughout the summer. See the list of musicians, dates, and times here!

The Waddy Summer Concert Series at Waddy Baptist Church will be July 10, August 7, and September 4 at the church picnic shelter. This is a free event that begins at 7pm. Get your singing voices ready because the second part of each concert will be open to anyone who wants to perform on stage (bring your own instrument). For more info call 502-513-8100.

5th Annual Rob Fest will be July 17 and 18 at the Clear Creek Amphitheater (Shelbyville). Cost is $5 (children under 12 free). Live music, food, silent auction, vendors.

The Shelbyville Development Corporation is having a fun Street Party Concert on July 25. The concert will be in Downtown Shelbyville on Main Street at 7pm and feature JD Shelburne! They will have another concert on August 22 and October 3.

All Things Music in Shelbyville will host 6th Street Live on select dates throughout the year. The next one is this Saturday, June 20, at 6:30pm! Powell & Plague 9 will perform.
