Tropical Snow Shaved Ice in Shelbyville

Tropical Snow Shaved Ice recently opened at 18 Main Street in Shelbyville! It's the perfect treat on these hot summer days (or rainy days- they operate at an old gas station so there's plenty of covered space). The business operates out of a small green building that sits in front of the old gas station building. There are two large picnic tables in front of the building to enjoy your treat (and pretty flower boxes, too).

There are about 25 flavors to choose from (you can choose up to 3 flavors for your shaved ice). They also have several combinations to choose from. I ordered a small Kentucky Life (coconut, watermelon, ice cream) and it was great! My husband and 2 daughters each ordered a small Orange Dreamsicle (orange, ice cream, vanilla) and they ate/drank every last drop! They also have sugar free options available, as well as drinks and candy.

The two people inside making the treats for us were very friendly and fast. The day we went they even had music set up in the parking lot as an added treat! We will definitely be back to try out some of the other flavors :)
